Governor Julie Ngungua calling for unity and development in Tanganyika Province

In a poignant statement, Governor Julie Ngungua made a strong call for unity and solidarity for the development of Tanganyika province. Returning to her position after her rehabilitation by the Constitutional Court, she expressed her determination to put an end to the conflicts which hinder the progress of the region.

In a speech to a cheering crowd gathered in Place Kisebwe, the Governor stressed the importance of abandoning internal quarrels and divisions that are causing delays in the development of the province. She reminded the population that three precious months had been lost due to the conflicts, while other provinces are moving forward in their development.

“We must put aside our differences and unite for the progress of our province of Tanganyika,” the governor said. “I have the faith and the conviction that you love me and that you will accompany me in this mission of development”.

She also pointed out that the Head of State had asked her to return to the province and work together with the inhabitants to build a better future. She insisted it was time to turn the page on conflict and focus on positive actions that can transform the province.

The rehabilitation of the governor by the Constitutional Court was also a decisive moment. The motion of no confidence that had been voted against her by the provincial assembly was declared unconstitutional, which allows her to fully resume her functions and continue to lead the province.

This call for unity from Governor Ngungua comes at a crucial time for Tanganyika. People need strong leadership and visionary leadership to overcome challenges and move the region forward. By putting aside differences and working together, the people of Tanganyika can create a bright future for their province.

Such determination to promote unity and work for development is an inspiring example for other leaders and for the people at large. By following this call, Tanganyika can look forward to a prosperous future, where mutual respect, cooperation and progress will be the pillars of society.
