“The Minister of Infrastructure launches road modernization works in Kinshasa, improving the living conditions of the population”

News Kinshasa: The Minister of Infrastructure visits the construction sites and launches the modernization of the roads in N’Sele

Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo – The Minister of Infrastructure of the DRC, Alexis Gisaro, traveled to Kinshasa to inspect several works in progress in the Congolese capital. During his visit, he also kicked off the modernization works of the B.A.T road in N’Sele, with a view to concretizing President Félix Tshisekedi’s vision to improve the living conditions of the population.

Minister Gisaro spent much of his day visiting the works in different neighborhoods, including Lemba, Limete, Kisenso and N’Sele. The objective was to find out about the progress of the work and to launch new projects.

Regarding the modernization of the B.A.T road in N’Sele, 2 km long, the Minister has set a six-month deadline for its inauguration. He also called on the population of N’Sele to remain vigilant and to report any possible problems. The Minister pledged to remain open to the concerns of the population and to provide solutions.

In the commune of Lemba, the section of Sefu Avenue, 2.3 km long, is being totally rehabilitated, from the first gate of the Fikin to the Mokengeli school. As for Botango Avenue, known as the “Boucle”, which extends to the Lemba communal house, construction and sanitation works are underway, arousing the joy of the inhabitants of the district.

In 14th rue de Limete, connecting boulevard Lumumba to route des Poids Lourds, work has also been undertaken after a long period of inactivity, thus improving traffic flow in this sector.

Finally, in the Bikanga district in Kisenso, the avenue de la Paix has been modernized, offering the population better accessibility and enhancing this part of Kinshasa.
