The importance of ensuring election security in the DRC
As presidential elections approach in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, fears about the security of the electoral process are growing. The Forum of Stakeholders in the Electoral Process, bringing together political parties, civil society, the CENI and the Constitutional Court, called on the Congolese government to put in place effective security measures to ensure the smooth running of the elections.

The president of the CENI, Denis Kadima, also took the floor during this Forum to take stock of the current electoral process.
