Title: Annual review of Faith Word In action activities in 2022: Assessment and perspectives
Introduction :
Faith Word In Action (FWA), a grassroots organization funded by Oxfam, FEMNET and the European Union, recently met in Kinshasa for its annual activity review workshop. The objective of this meeting was to assess the programmatic and financial execution of the activities of the previous year, as well as to identify the progress made and the challenges to be met for the coming year. During this workshop, Anifa Kalombola, Executive Secretary of FWA, stressed the importance of this review to take stock of achievements, identify constraints and plan future actions.
Summary of activities for the year 2022:
During this workshop, participants reviewed the various activities carried out by FWA during the year 2022. Mrs. Anifa Kalombola recalled the importance of taking into account both successes and failures in order to improve the future projects. FWA partners also showcased their own achievements, both in the STITCH project and in other activities, highlighting the diversity and breadth of their commitment.
Outlook for 2023:
In addition to the assessment of past activities, this workshop was also an opportunity to define the perspectives for the year 2023. The participants discussed major developments and new challenges to be met, in order to revitalize FWA’s work plan. It was stressed that each partner is free to carry out their own activities, even if they collaborate within the framework of the STITCH project. This collaboration makes it possible to exchange knowledge, to take advantage of the particularities of each partner and to help each other to evolve in a positive way.
Conclusion :
The annual review of the activities of Faith Word In action in 2022 allowed us to take stock of the achievements and failures of the past year. This meeting also made it possible to identify future challenges and plan actions for the year 2023. FWA and its partners continue to work with commitment in the sector of development and empowerment of young women and girls.
