Denis Kambayi, president of notables and coordinator of senators in Grand-Kasaï, recently visited the office of the Minister of State for Infrastructure and Public Works (ITP), Alexis Gisaro Muvunyi, to take stock of the progress of work in the region. After asking an oral question with debate before the chamber of elders, Kambayi wanted to obtain precise information on the Kananga-Kalamba Mbuji road of hope and the RN1 in the Kamwesha-Kananga and Kananga-Mbuji sections.
In an interview with the press, Kambayi stressed the importance of obtaining information directly from the minister himself and being able to share it with the population. He also praised the expertise and commitment of Alexis Gisaro Muvunyi, qualifying him as a competent technician who masters his sector.
This visit follows the Minister of State’s appearances before the senators, during which he addressed several concerns regarding road infrastructure in Grand-Kasaï. The discussions made it possible to calm the concerns of elected officials and provide reassuring information on the progress of the work.
Denis Kambayi has announced that he will soon go to the field to see for himself the progress of the work. He intends to use the information and images obtained during his meeting with the Minister to inform the population of the region.
This initiative demonstrates Senator Kambayi’s commitment to infrastructure development in Grand Kasai. By going to the field and informing the population, he plays an essential role in promoting the progress of infrastructure projects and in establishing a constructive dialogue between elected officials and government officials.
It is encouraging to see political actors actively involved in the development of their region. This shows that concrete progress is being made and that measures are being taken to improve infrastructure and the daily lives of the population.
It now remains to closely follow the progress of the work in Grand-Kasaï and to hope that these efforts will translate into tangible results for the inhabitants of the region
