
Preliminary results of the feasibility study of the battery and electric vehicle initiative between the DRC and Zambia were revealed at the United Nations General Assembly. This ambitious project will require an investment of US$30 billion and aims to capture nearly US$7 trillion by 2035-2040. This initiative represents an opportunity for economic development and the fight against climate change in the region, by promoting the use of clean energy and creating new job opportunities in the battery and electric vehicle sector.
