
The article highlights the intensification of diplomatic relations between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Israel, with the recent announcement of the opening of an Israeli embassy in Kinshasa and the transfer of the Congolese embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. President Tshisekedi regularly expresses his interest in Israel and wishes to strengthen ties between the two countries. This decision, supported by Benjamin Netanyahu, also provides for investments in the areas of security, agriculture and infrastructure. However, certain fears are expressed about the impact of this rapprochement on the DRC’s relations with other Arab countries and the position of the African Union on the question of Jerusalem. Nevertheless, this decision marks a turning point in relations between the two countries and opens new prospects for cooperation.
