Thousands of Britons gathered in London during the National Rejoin March to demonstrate in favor of the United Kingdom’s return to the European Union. The mobilization brought together participants from all backgrounds and was marked by strong messages and European flags. A YouGov poll shows that more than 60% of Britons consider Brexit a failure. Protesters express their anger and regret at the consequences of Brexit, particularly in terms of depriving future generations of EU membership. Although holding a referendum this year raises differences of opinion, almost half of those polled say they are in favor of a referendum in 10 years. This mobilization underlines the importance of taking into account the voices of those who believe that Brexit was a mistake.
