NASA has reached a major milestone in space exploration by successfully recovering a sample from the asteroid Bennu. After seven years of travel, the Osiris-Rex probe released a capsule containing the sample, which successfully landed in the Utah desert. This sample collection mission, a first for NASA, will provide crucial information about the origins of the solar system and asteroids potentially dangerous to Earth. The return of this sample is historic, as it is the largest quantity of extraterrestrial material brought back to Earth since the Apollo missions. The sample will be analyzed in detail and the first results will be announced in October. This success opens new perspectives for space exploration and our understanding of the universe.
