The National Service of the DRC is inspired by the Tanzanian model to strengthen its training. Major General Jean-Pierre Kasongo Kabwik visited the Ruvu center in Tanzania, which trains young people for a period of 3 months, including military training and entrepreneurship. The goal is to instill patriotic values and train young people to be engaged citizens. The DRC seeks to adapt to existing best practices to improve its national service and prepare young people to play an active role in society.
