In a recent article, the evolution of the Local Development Program in the decentralized territories of the Democratic Republic of Congo is highlighted. Despite some obstacles, the General Inspectorate of Finance noted the progress of the work during a visit to the province of Kasaï-Oriental. However, problems such as the destruction of works under construction or the dilapidated state of certain infrastructures have been observed. Despite these challenges, the IGF and local authorities are working together to guarantee the success of the program and create favorable conditions for development in the decentralized territories. This evaluation demonstrates the Congolese government’s commitment to development and improving the living conditions of citizens.
