The Literary Café of Missy (CaLM) and the Goethe Institute of Kinshasa are organizing a meeting on June 8 on the theme “Lumumba, a universal heritage”. This literary evening aims to discuss the legacy left by Patrice Emery Lumumba, a national hero of the DRC who marked the history of the country. Lumumba has become a symbol for Africa, but also for the Afro-descendant community around the world. This meeting will be an opportunity for the new generation to immerse themselves in history and discover the actors in the fight for the independence of several African countries.
