The Social Protection and Decent Work Program was officially launched in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Funded by the Kingdom of Belgium and implemented by Enabel, this program aims to improve the working conditions and social protection of women and young people. It targets different categories of workers and foresees concrete results such as the creation of 12,000 decent jobs, the enforcement of labor rights and the improvement of social protection for thousands of people. This program strengthens the DRC’s efforts in its fight against poverty and job creation, thus offering new opportunities for women and young people to benefit from decent work and better social protection.
