The World Food Program (WFP) is implementing a new strategy in the Democratic Republic of Congo to help poor populations. By distributing cash and food, WFP aims to help 1.1 million people in the provinces of Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu. This approach makes it possible to provide direct and targeted assistance, while strengthening the resilience of local communities. By ensuring market stability and empowering beneficiaries, WFP is helping to solve the food crisis while giving communities the dignity and self-reliance they need.
