
The article highlights the participation of President Félix Tshisekedi of Congo in the summit on the Amazon basin. This summit brought together the Heads of State of Brazil, Indonesia and the DRC, all signatories of the United Nations Framework Convention on Forest Basins. The objective of this meeting was to share good practices in the preservation of forest resources, essential in the fight against climate change. President Tshisekedi took this opportunity to highlight the DRC’s efforts to preserve its forests, the real lungs of the Earth. The participation of the DRC in this event demonstrates its commitment to the protection of biodiversity and the promotion of a green economy.
