“Félix Tshisekedi mobilizes the crowds for a new impetus for development in the DRC”

The Democratic Republic of Congo is preparing for a new surge in development, driven by the vision and projects of the 2023 presidential candidate, Félix Tshisekedi. During a rally in Mbanza-Ngungu, candidate number 20 expressed his desire to revive the country and improve the lives of the Congolese.

Félix Tshisekedi called on the population to renew their confidence in him and to vote for him in the December 20 elections. He pledged to continue ongoing programs for the well-being of the population, while warning against candidates who want to “sell” the country.

In his speech, the outgoing president promised to improve secondary education, maternity and primary health care. He thus wishes to guarantee a better future for Congolese children and offer quality services to all.

However, this gathering was marked by an unfortunate accident. A stampede at the entrance to Kitemoko stadium resulted in the death of a twelve-year-old child and several injuries. Witnesses reported that the crowd was large and that security was not sufficiently ensured.

Before going to Mbanza-Ngungu, Félix Tshisekedi was received by the Kimbanguist spiritual leader, Simon Kimbangu Kiangani, in the town of Nkamba. This meeting underlines the importance of the spiritual dimension in Congolese political life and shows the influence of religious leaders on political decisions.

In conclusion, Félix Tshisekedi mobilizes the crowds by promising a better future for the Democratic Republic of Congo. His vision of development and his projects for education, health and well-being of the population arouse enthusiasm, but unfortunate incidents remind us of the need to ensure adequate security during political gatherings.
