In an article published on our blog, we learned the sad news of the death of Samy Mikobi, nicknamed “The Strategist”, a well-known figure in Congolese showbiz. Samy Mikobi was a prominent personality in Bandal and had the reputation of being an outstanding entrepreneur and relational person. We would like to pay tribute to him for his natural interpersonal skills which allowed him to establish useful relationships with all layers of society.
In another article, we discussed the external audit mission of the electoral register in the DRC and the concern expressed by the MOE CENCO ECC about the neutrality of this process, as well as the solution it proposes to guarantee audit transparency. We also talked about the peaceful march of the opposition in the DRC, postponed to a later date, which was to denounce the high cost of living and the chaotic electoral process.
In a third article, we discussed the economic development of the DRC, with the retrocession of budgets to the provinces to boost their economic growth. We also talked about the initiative of IPAS, which provides reproductive health care and safe abortions to displaced women in Goma.
