The article that we are going to discuss concerns the implementation of the Luanda roadmap and the Nairobi process for peace in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This is an important current topic, and France considers that its implementation is a priority.
The French Ambassador to the DRC, Bruno Aubert, stressed during his meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of National Defence, Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo, that the Luanda roadmap should be the guiding thread of any stock. He also praised the diplomatic mobilization efforts in the region and expressed France’s support for these initiatives.
Military and defense cooperation between France and the DRC was also discussed during this meeting. The Ambassador underlined the importance of this cooperation and mentioned the possibility of development in new areas.
