The construction of the Panzi Youth Stadium in Bukavu is a laudable initiative which aims to promote sport and provide the inhabitants of Panzi with a space dedicated to sporting activities. The coordinating president of the Jeunesse Sportive de Bukavu ex Ajax team, Norbert Basengezi Katintima, laid the first stone of this ambitious project which will not only benefit his team, but also many other talents.
This new stadium, called “Panzi Youth Stadium”, will be the playing field of the Jeunesse Sportive de Bukavu team, but also a gathering place for other local sports teams and clubs. It will become a true symbol of the passion and sporting fervor of the region.
The dimensions of the stadium, revealed by the engineer in charge of its construction, testify to its scale and modernism. With a length of 120 meters and a width of 70 meters, it will offer a capacity of 2,500 people in the stands. Additional facilities, such as offices and warm-up areas, will complete this quality sports infrastructure.
In addition to the stadium itself, Norbert Basengezi Katintima also announced the construction of the offices of Jeunesse Sportive de Bukavu and civil society on the same site. This will centralize sports-related activities and facilitate the coordination of the different actors involved.
This Panzi Youth Stadium project is therefore truly anchored in a vision of development and encouragement of local youth. By offering a space dedicated to sport and encouraging sports practice, it will contribute to the development of young people and the discovery of new talents.
The laying of the foundation stone of this stadium marks the beginning of a new era for sport in Panzi. It will allow the region to equip itself with modern infrastructure and encourage sports practice among young people. The Panzi Youth Stadium will undoubtedly become a place of meetings, competitions and pride for the local sports community.
