“CENI: Training of flight personnel for effective deployment of electoral equipment”

Training of flight personnel for the deployment of electoral materials

The Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) recently handed out certificates to the flight personnel responsible for transporting electoral materials across the national territory in preparation for the upcoming elections. This crucial step in the electoral process demonstrates the importance of logistics to guarantee the smooth running of voting operations.

The training of flight personnel, which lasted two days, was organized in order to prepare the beneficiaries for their mission of transporting electoral materials in a vast country with terrain that is sometimes difficult to access. The presentation of the patents by the president of the CENI, Dénis Kadima Kazadi, demonstrates the organization’s commitment to putting in place the necessary means to ensure the transport of the equipment within the planned deadlines.

The fleet of boats acquired by CENI includes 28 vessels, including 9 large catamarans and 19 Walhys. This acquisition, associated with the training of aircrew, considerably strengthens the capabilities of deploying electoral equipment, particularly in difficult-to-access areas. Thanks to these additional resources, the CENI is confident in its ability to transport electoral materials to their destination in time for the elections of December 20, 2023.

The deputy quaestor of the CENI, Sylvie Birembano, stressed the importance of respecting the procedures established by the organization. The boats will be kept in the CENI branches and cannot be used without prior authorization. This measure aims to guarantee the security of electoral materials and to avoid any deviations in the logistical process.

The training of aircrew has been hailed as a success, with demonstrations showing that the beneficiaries are fully prepared for their task. Thanks to this initiative, the CENI strengthens its capacity to organize transparent and democratic elections, by ensuring effective deployment of electoral materials throughout the national territory.

This training and the acquisition of the fleet of boats reflect CENI’s commitment to creating the necessary conditions for successful elections. The delivery of electoral materials is a crucial step in the electoral process, and the establishment of adequate logistical means is essential to guarantee the transparency and integrity of the vote.

Thus, the trained aircrew and the means of transport acquired will enable the CENI to effectively fulfill its mission and respect the constitutional deadlines set for the holding of elections. This initiative once again demonstrates the importance of logistics in the electoral process, and marks a significant step forward in the preparation of the upcoming elections.
