“The National Day of the Federation of Protestant Women celebrates unity and action for a better future in the DRC”

The article is dedicated to the celebration of the national day of the Federation of Protestant Women (FFP) which took place in Butembo, in the province of North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This event brought together many Protestant women as well as members of revival churches.

The president of the federation of Protestant women within the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC/Butembo), Zawadi Mangolopa, underlined the importance of this day by highlighting the potential of women to bring about positive change in the Company. Despite the difficulties encountered, she encourages women to work together and unite to find solutions to the problems facing the country.

Among the main concerns raised during this day, insecurity in the North Kivu region was mentioned. Zawadi Mangolopa pleaded for the return of peace to this part of the country and urged Protestant women to pray for this cause.

Speaking of the upcoming elections, the president of the Protestant women’s federation of the ECC/Butembo called on the population to vote for true patriots, people with the interest of the country and the people at heart, rather than for individuals seeking only to enrich themselves once elected.

The National Day of the Protestant Women’s Federation was celebrated with the theme: “With Jesus, if we want, we can.”

This event demonstrates the commitment of Protestant women in the DRC to bring positive changes in society and to work for the peace and well-being of their country. By emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity, these women are a source of inspiration for all those who aspire to a better world.
