“Controversies and tensions after the death of Ne Muana Nsemi, leader of BDK: disturbing actions of his wife and uncertainties about his place of burial”

Bundu Dia Kongo (BDK) leader Ne Muana Nsemi recently lost his life, leaving behind controversy over the actions of his wife, Prophetess Lubondo. Indeed, disturbing information reports that shortly after the announcement of the death of Ne Muana Nsemi, his wife left the Nganda hospital center taking certain movable property, without waiting for her husband’s burial.

This situation sparked a strong reaction, calling the widow’s actions cruel and disrespectful to her late husband. Videos posted on social media showed the police presence in front of Ne Muana Nsemi’s house, with allegations of kidnapping of his wife and children by BDK members. The reasons for this arrest are said to be linked to the destination taken by certain belongings of the late leader.

However, it should be noted that these reports were denied by the provincial president of BDK, saying that Ne Muana Nsemi’s widow was not on the streets, but placed out of residence for her safety. Still, it raises questions about the need for such security measures and the difference of opinion over where the deceased leader should be laid to rest.

Indeed, the burial place of Ne Muana Nsemi is still uncertain, with members of his family and certain Manianga dignitaries having divergent opinions on this subject. Some believe he should be buried at his residence in Kinshasa, while others believe the defender of Kongo tradition and culture should be laid to rest in his native village in Luozi.

In addition, the question of N’longi’s succession to Kongo also arises. In 2016, he had already designated national deputy Papy Mantezolo as his successor. However, the final decision will only be made after his burial, the date of which is not yet known due to disputes between the family, BDK members and Manianga dignitaries.

In conclusion, Ne Muana Nsemi’s death was marred by controversies and questions regarding his wife’s actions after his death. The destination taken by certain goods, the alleged kidnapping of his family and the differences over his place of burial highlight the tensions surrounding the deceased leader and his BDK movement. The future of BDK and the appointment of Ne Muana Nsemi’s successor have yet to be determined, leaving the community awaiting answers.
