Ne Muana Nsemi, leader of Bundu Dia Kongo (BDK), died on Wednesday October 18 at the Nganda hospital center. Since then, disturbing information has surfaced regarding his widow, Prophetess Lubondo.
According to credible sources, after doctors informed the family of the death of Ne Muana Nsemi, his wife discreetly slipped away from the Nganda hospital center. She is also reported to have moved some movable property to an unknown destination.
This situation provoked the indignation of many observers. “I am shocked by the cruelty of the woman who could not wait for her husband’s funeral to act like this,” a source said.
A video posted on TikTok shows the presence of police officers in front of Ne Muana Nsemi’s house. The person filming talks about the kidnapping of the wife and children of the widow Muanda Nsemi by the Makesa of BDK. This arrest would aim to discover the destination of the deceased leader’s property.
However, this information was strongly denied by the provincial president of BDM, affirming that the widow of Ne Muanda Nsemi is not on the street, but placed outside residence for security reasons.
This situation raises many questions. According to Kongo tradition, the widow should stay in the place where her husband lived until his burial. So why does it need to be protected outside the family home?
Furthermore, the date of Ne Muana Nsemi’s burial has not yet been set due to differences between the family, members of BDK and certain Manianga dignitaries. Some believe that the spiritual leader should be buried in Kinshasa, in his residence, while others think that he should rest in his native village, in the territory of Luozi.
In the meantime, the question of his succession arises. Ne Muana Nsemi had already designated national deputy Papy Mantezolo as his successor in 2016.
It therefore remains to be seen how this situation will evolve and what the consequences will be for the future of Bundu Dia Kongo.
