Delly Sesanga: a candidate determined to reform the Congo
Delly Sesanga, Congolese political figure and proclaimed candidate for the December presidential election, continues his tour of the “Refoundation of Congo”. During a speech in Nioki, he strongly criticized the management of the country, particularly in terms of security.
Sesanga is concerned that, despite the allocation of a large budget for defence, the funds are being misused. Instead of improving police salaries and equipping the army, he finds that the government is turning to armed groups and mercenaries to ensure the country’s security.
In this context, Delly Sesanga proposes a “Refoundation of the Congo” project aimed at protecting the country and making it stronger. He asserts his presidential candidacy to implement this vision.
According to him, the current regime has no balance sheet and is preparing an electoral fraud. He therefore calls on citizens to mobilize massively during the vote to sanction these practices. He also urges them to remain vigilant after the election, in order to prevent any manipulation of the results by the Electoral Commission.
Sesanga also denounces the composition of the Electoral Commission and the Constitutional Court, which he considers to be inconsistent with the law and the Constitution. He says his party will submit the electoral lists independently of these institutions, and that the official results will not be recognized if they are not validated by civil society and the churches.
Finally, Delly Sesanga appeals to the resistance, especially young people, to stay in the polling stations on election day and ensure the transparency and integrity of the electoral process.
In conclusion, Delly Sesanga presents himself as a candidate determined to reform the Congo and put an end to the corrupt and inefficient practices of the current regime. His “Congo Refoundation” tour allows him to share his vision and mobilize citizens around real change for the country.
