Celebration of the 105ᵉ birth anniversary of Joseph Diangienda Kuntima: The EJCSK church highlights the Kimbanguist youth

The Church of Jesus Christ on earth through its envoy Simon Kimbangu (EJCSK) recently celebrated the 105th anniversary of the birth of one of the spiritual leaders and son of Prophet Kimbangu, Joseph Diangienda Kuntima. This parish located in Mbanza-Ngungu marked this event with a grand finale of the general culture contest called “Nzeyi” (I know).

The contest brought together finalist students from Kimbanguist schools, selected by the Organization of Kimbanguist Finalist Students (OEFK). The objective of this competition was to strengthen participants’ knowledge of Kimbanguism as well as to increase their scientific knowledge.

This event was sponsored and sponsored by the ASBL “Zua Idée Forever”, directed by Cédric Matuatambula Kua Nzambi. This organization accompanies young people and encourages initiatives aimed at improving their well-being. The choice of this non-profit organization as a partner was motivated by its commitment to young people and its support for local initiatives.

The contest final was a success and the organizers expressed their gratitude to the sponsor of the event, as well as to all the participants and sponsors. Mak Matondo Kua Nzambi, Provincial Minister of Mines, Transport and Ways of Communication of Kongo Central, was present on this occasion.

Cédric Matuatambula Kua Nzambi, president of the non-profit association “Zua Idée Forever”, welcomed the organization of the competition and expressed his support for this cultural event to become an annual tradition throughout the province of Kongo Central. He also thanked Mr. Nsimba Vianney and the Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Dina for their personal involvement in this event.

Reverend Dina of the Single Cataracts Division encouraged such activities to showcase the Union of Kimbanguist Youth (UJKI), which had remained silent for some time. He expressed the wish that this competition continue to be organized by the single division of the Cataractes center.

The final of the competition saw the participation of 25 finalist students and the first two winners were announced during the closing ceremony. The preliminary rounds of the competition had started in April with more than 100 candidates.

This celebration of Joseph Diangienda Kuntima’s birthday was a milestone for the EJCSK church and the Kimbanguist youth. It helped to highlight the knowledge and talents of the students while strengthening their connection with the spirituality and teachings of the Prophet Kimbangu.

Beyond the event itself, this celebration is also a reflection of the important role that the church plays in Congolese society by encouraging education, culture and youth.. She underlines the commitment of the non-profit association “Zua Idée Forever” to support such initiatives which contribute to the development and fulfillment of Congolese youth.

This anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate the legacy of Joseph Diangienda Kuntima and to remind the younger generations of the importance of their commitment to the pursuit of the ideals of the Prophet Kimbangu. By promoting education and culture, this event contributes to the construction of a more enlightened and prosperous Congolese society
