“The celebration of the 105th anniversary of Joseph Diangienda Kuntima: a significant day for the EJCSK church and the Kimbanguist youth”

The Church of Jesus Christ on Earth by His Envoy Simon Kimbangu (EJCSK), Mbanza-Ngungu Central Parish, recently celebrated in a grand way the 105th anniversary of the birth of one of the spiritual leaders and son of Prophet Kimbangu , Joseph Diangienda Kuntima. This celebration coincided with the final of a general culture contest called “Nzeyi” or “I know”.

This competition, organized by the organization of Kimbanguist finalist students (OEFK), brought together the best finalist students from Kimbanguist schools, aiming to enrich their knowledge of Kimbanguism and stimulate their scientific curiosity. The grand finale of the competition was sponsored by the association “Zua Idée Forever”, led by Cédric Matuatambula Kua Nzambi.

The “Zua Idée Forever” association accompanies young people and encourages the initiative of young people in all areas of national life. His support for this cultural event was praised by the organizers and members of the church, in particular the provincial Minister of Mines, transport and communication routes of Kongo Central, Mak Matondo Kua Nzambi, who is also a member of the association. .

During the final of the competition, which took place in Mbanza-ngungu, two winners were announced, Justin-Robben Diasilua and Zenedy Nzeza, among the 25 participating finalist students. This first edition of the “Nzeyi” contest was a success and the organizers expressed their gratitude to all the participants and sponsors who contributed to its realization.

The Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Dina of the Unique Cataract Division also expressed his support for holding such activities which aim to unite Kimbanguist youth and promote their active participation. He underlined the importance of the unique cataract division in the organization and expressed his gratitude to the association “Zua Idée Forever” for its continued support of the church and its initiatives.

This 105ᵉ anniversary of Joseph Diangienda Kuntima was an opportunity to celebrate the memory and teaching of Prophet Kimbangu, as well as to promote the intellectual and cultural development of young Kimbanguists. The EJCSK Church and its partners will continue to work together to organize this cultural event each year, with the aim of preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Kimbanguist community.
