Qatar and the French company TotalEnergies have concluded two major agreements in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies. These agreements, lasting 27 years, will allow Qatar to supply up to 3.5 million tonnes of LNG per year to France, from 2026.
This announcement confirms Qatar’s continued commitment to European markets, particularly France, and will help strengthen the country’s energy security. Deliveries will come from the North Field East (NFE) and North Field South (NFS) projects, in which TotalEnergies holds interests.
