Faith Word In action, a citizen structure funded by international organizations such as Oxfam, FEMNET and the European Union, recently met in Kinshasa for a workshop. The objective of this event was to take stock of the activities of the past year and to revitalize the work plan for the coming year.

During this two-day workshop, participants were able to discuss the achievements and challenges encountered during the previous year, as well as the progress made towards the objectives set. Anifa Kalombola, Executive Secretary of Faith Word In action, underlined the importance of this event to evaluate the activities and plan the future of the organization.

It should be noted that Faith Word In action has been operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo for nearly four years, working in particular on the STITCH project in collaboration with Oxfam and FEMNET. The workshop allowed the partners to share their experiences and discuss the activities carried out within the framework of the STITCH project, as well as the individual projects of each partner.

This annual review is an essential way for Faith Word In action to ensure the effectiveness of its programs and adapt to the changing needs of the young women and girls it aims to empower and support in their communities.

In conclusion, the Faith Word In action workshop in Kinshasa was an opportunity for members to take stock of the past year and establish a work plan for the year to come. This annual review allows the organization to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of its activities, while promoting collaboration and the exchange of experiences between partners. Faith Word In action thus continues to play a key role in the development and empowerment of young women and girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo
