It is estimated that 26 million people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo will face food insecurity by December.
By December, about 26 million people in the DRC will face food insecurity due to conflict and displacement. At least 10 civilians were evacuated, killed, kidnapped and destroyed in an attack on civilians and a medical center in Beni district of North Kivu province. More than 300,000 people were left homeless in renewed fighting between M23 and FARDC in northern Kivu between October 20 and November 21.
Ross Mutombo agrees to revival the organization.
Rose Mutombo spoke of the organization’s desire for revival. We hope that our next meeting in Kinshasa will provide an opportunity to develop an action plan for our organization and predecessors to begin. Rose said thank you for supporting her country. Attorney General Ross Keats is the Chair of the Ministerial Council for Local Organizations.
The DRC President was in charge of OHADA for one year.
This year, the leader of the Democratic Republic of the Congo will host the African Organization for Better Business Law. An important decision was made at the OHADA Ministerial Conference in Niamey on 21-22 December. The Democratic Republic of the Congo became a party to this treaty. OHADA member files have been transferred to the custodian. The Democratic Republic of the Congo will be the first country to sign the OHADA Treaty. The African Organization for Harmonization of Commercial Laws is an intergovernmental organization that promotes harmonization of laws. The DR Congo term coincides with OHADA’s 30 years.
