The challenges of the delegation of the General Inspectorate of Finance to Tshopo
A delegation from the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) went to Kisangani to monitor the execution of development work in 145 territories at Tshopo. This initiative was welcomed by the vice-governor of the province, Paulin Lendongolia, who promised administrative and security support for the success of this mission.
This visit of the IGF is of capital importance for the Tshopo, because it will guarantee the transparency and efficiency of the use of the resources allocated to the development of the territories. Indeed, good financial governance is a major issue in the Democratic Republic of Congo and contributes to the construction of a responsible State that respects its citizens.
Monitoring of development work is essential to ensure that projects are completed on time and in compliance with quality standards. The intervention of the IGF will make it possible to assess the conformity of the works with the established specifications and to identify any irregularities.
The provincial authority of Tshopo, aware of the importance of this monitoring, has set up a committee dedicated to this task. This collaboration between the IGF and the provincial authorities reinforces the government’s commitment to implementing transparent and effective development policies.
In addition to overseeing the execution of work in progress, the IGF delegation may also make recommendations to improve the planning and management of future development projects in the Tshopo. This will make it possible to optimize the use of financial resources and guarantee greater efficiency of the actions undertaken.
This visit by the IGF to Kisangani is therefore an important step in the search for more transparent and accountable economic governance in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It bears witness to the government’s desire to promote the sustainable development of the provinces and to maximize the benefits for the Congolese population. The close collaboration between the provincial authorities and the IGF is a step towards the emergence of more efficient public management oriented towards the well-being of citizens
