The provincial deputy of North Kivu, Muhindo Magezi Celce, was buried this Thursday, August 24, 2023 in his native village of Kasindi, in the territory of Beni. His funeral ceremony was marked by tears, cries and heartbreak among the people he served.
Many personalities, including Alain Siwako, representative of the President of the Provincial Assembly of North Kivu, attended the funeral. Provincial and national deputies as well as socio-politico-economic personalities also accompanied the remains on his last trip.
The ceremony took place at the stadium of the Catholic church in the Lubiriha sector, in the parish of Saint Conrad de Kasindi. Me Achille Kapanga, senior executive of the ACDIP party, paid tribute to Muhindo Magezi Celce by emphasizing his high patriotic sense.
Born on August 18, 1980 in Kasindi, Muhindo Magezi Celce was elected in the electoral district of Beni in 2018 on the RCD/KML list. He devoted his mandate to promoting the development of his entity and lifting the state of siege. His untimely passing at the age of 43 leaves behind a legacy of devotion to his region.
The death of MP Muhindo Magezi Celce is a tragic loss for the province of North Kivu and for all the people he represented. His commitment to development and the improvement of living conditions will be remembered
