The article highlights the women
On the front page of Fatshimétrie, a heartwarming piece of news: the Université Chrétienne Bilingue du Congo (UCBC) in Beni, North Kivu, has brilliantly concluded the first session of its women’s leadership training program, in collaboration with the American organization IMPACT NOW. After six intense months, the participants of the NYOTA LEADERSHIP PROGRAM received their certificates during an emotional ceremony. This initiative is not just a training, it is the promise of transformation, skills building and increased engagement of women in society.

The scene is gracefully taking shape: a new generation of women leaders is emerging, ready to put their knowledge at the service of the community. The voices that have been raised to defend gender equality are taking on a more powerful echo, carried by women determined to shake things up.

In a second part, the focus turns to TENDO LA ROHO, an organization committed to the fight against violence against women and girls. The communications officer enlightens us on the actions carried out during the recent 16 Days of Activism campaign. Every gesture, every word, every initiative counts in this essential fight for the equality and dignity of all women.

The file closes with reflections on the importance of training and supporting the female leaders of tomorrow. Because gender equality cannot be achieved without the active participation of women at all levels of society. Education, training and support for women in their journey towards leadership are all levers for building a fairer and more equitable world.

In short, the events in Beni demonstrate a collective awareness, a desire to change mentalities and promote an inclusive society where everyone can flourish fully. Every step towards equality is a victory, every voice that is heard is a step closer to a better future for all.
