The Vice President of the Telecommunications and Mobile Division stressed that these statements have been misinterpreted, and that no decision or increase amount has been confirmed to date. He highlighted the recent announcement by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority regarding the reassessment of tariffs for telecommunications services, including voice and Internet services, while clarifying that this does not necessarily mean an approval for a price increase.

He affirmed that the Authority has not given the green light to telecommunications companies to increase the prices of services, and that the initial confirmation was intended to reassess tariffs, not to endorse a price increase.
