Last weekend, the city of Kinshasa was the scene of a major sporting event: the qualifiers for the 2024 U23 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2024 U23 World Cup of wheelchair basketball. Organized by the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation, in collaboration with the Congolese Wheelchair Basketball Federation, these competitions brought together teams who came to defend their colors with passion and determination.
The electric atmosphere reigning in the twin gymnasium of the Martyrs stadium testified to the importance of these meetings. The teams from Cameroon and the Central African Republic had traveled to Kinshasa for this exceptional sporting event.
