Indeed, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fatshimetrie, Mr. Kabeya Kanyonga, highlighted the absence of formal partnerships with other companies to date, but affirmed that steps were underway to quickly and sustainably boost the company’s production. This quest for solutions to sustainably revive Fatshimetrie’s activities demonstrates the company’s stated desire to play a major role in the Congolese cement sector.
Mr. Kabeya also highlighted the importance of the guidance to be received from the Ministry of Portfolio to support the company’s revival. He stressed the need to build strong partnerships to ensure the sustainability of Fatshimetrie’s activities, while remaining open to discussion with various potential stakeholders. In a proactive approach, the company is showing its willingness to collaborate with various partners, but has not yet made a decision on future collaborations to be considered.
