The presence of this wild animal is causing concern and helplessness among local citizens while the authorities are trying to find a solution to this growing problem.
For more than a week, the crocodile has been prowling the waters of the river, threatening the goats and other domestic animals of the villagers. Jean Suma Kalumbando, chief of the village of Lombo, is sounding the alarm and calling on the provincial government of Maniema, under the leadership of Mussa Kabwankubi Moise, to act quickly and eliminate this threat before it turns into a human tragedy.
