Edo State Transition Commission: Towards a Smooth Transfer of Power

In Edo State, the establishment of the Transitional Government Commission marks a crucial step in the preparation for the handover of power for the inauguration of Senator Monday Okpebholo. In the early hours of the morning, members of the Joint Transitional Commission of Edo State and the All Progressives Congress (APC) will meet at the John Odigie-Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA) to begin their work. This inaugural meeting is of paramount importance in the upcoming transition process.

The Edo State Communication and Orientation, represented by Chris Nehikhare, announced that the Transitional Commission had received the names of the members of the Transitional Commission of the APC in response to its earlier correspondence to the party. The primary objective of this Commission is to facilitate a smooth transfer of power, with the aim of ensuring optimal administrative continuity.
