**Women of Kimbanseke: a step towards autonomy and leadership**
In a world where women’s autonomy is a crucial issue for sustainable development, the initiative set up in Kimbanseke, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, marks a significant step towards women’s emancipation. More than 300 women from this commune in eastern Kinshasa recently benefited from training focused on leadership and empowerment, thus demonstrating the desire for concrete action in favor of gender equality.
The NGO “Femmes engagés pour le développement durable (Fedd)” played a key role in organizing this training, providing participants with concrete tools to strengthen their income-generating activities.
