A major step forward in the aviation sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo

The aviation sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo is experiencing significant progress with the recent announcement by the Board of Directors of the Régie des Voies Aériennes (RVA). Indeed, an important decision was taken, in collaboration with certain banks in Kinshasa, concerning the disbursement of sixty million US dollars. This sum is intended to cover the final settlements of deceased agents and executives, as well as those at the end of their careers ready to retire.

This initiative, unveiled by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of RVA SA, Kin-Kiey Mulumba, during an airport inspection mission in Kisangani, demonstrates the company’s commitment to the well-being of its staff. At the same time, it was also announced the establishment of an ambitious project to build a polyclinic in Kisangani, with an initial investment of USD 800,000 from RVA SA’s own funds.
