The explosions killed 32 people and injured more than 3,000 others.

Lebanese Health Minister Firass Abiad announced a new alarming toll, indicating that 37 people were killed and more than 3,500 injured as a result of the explosions, which were blamed on Israel. According to him, 25 people lost their lives on Wednesday and 12 on Tuesday, updating a previous death toll of 32.

These recent events have sparked international outrage and concern. The use of explosive devices in populated areas raises major concerns for the safety of civilians and regional stability. These destabilizing attacks plunge Lebanon into a period of uncertainty and heightened tension, leaving residents in fear of further violence.

It is imperative for the international community to strongly condemn such acts of violence and work together to stem the escalation of tensions in the region. The protection of civilians and the maintenance of peace must be at the heart of the priorities of governments and international organizations in order to prevent further tragedies and foster stability in this already fragile region.

In these troubled times, it is essential for the global community to remain vigilant and show solidarity with the Lebanese people, who deserve to live in security and peace. Recent events underscore the urgency of collective action to promote stability and security in the region, to avoid further tragic losses and to preserve the lives and dignity of all citizens of Lebanon.
