“HJ Foundation: mobilization and solidarity for flood victims in South Kivu”

The latest floods in South Kivu, which killed more than 500 people, saw the mobilization of the HJ Foundation, which specializes in charity and solidarity actions, for the benefit of the Congolese. HJ hospitals treated more than 2,500 victims of the natural disaster free of charge by deploying a mobile clinic in Bushushu and Nyamukubi. Medical equipment from Kinshasa was also sent to Bushushu. With its various social actions, the HJ Foundation wishes to promote charity, solidarity, compassion and responsibility in order to improve the quality of life of communities and individuals.

Through this initiative, Harish Jagtani, founder of the HJ Foundation, wishes to give back to the Congolese community what the Congo has given them for more than twenty years, during which time his HJ group has prospered in business in the DRC. In addition to healthcare, the group is also involved in air freight, real estate and infrastructure development, hotels and Corporate Social Responsibility.

The HJ Foundation would like to thank its medical teams who gave themselves body and soul to assist the victims, as well as the local authorities who facilitated their work.

In summary, the intervention of the HJ Foundation in the field testifies to the commitment of this organization in favor of the Congolese community, through concrete actions aimed at improving the living conditions of its members.
