**Fight against insecurity: Presentation of a network of armed bandits in Isiro**

In a spectacular capture, Major General Mukalay Ngoy François, commander of the Uele operational sector, recently presented a network of 9 alleged armed bandits, including two soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC), to the governor of the Haut-Uele province, Jean Bakomito Gambu. This show of force took place during an official ceremony at the esplanade of the provincial governorate in Isiro, under the watchful eyes of the members of the Provincial Security Council.

The suspects in question were holding AK 47 and 12-gauge war weapons, accompanied by cartridge cases. Their involvement in an attack that occurred on August 28, within a base of Chinese expatriates on the Auzi mining site, in the chiefdom of Mariminza, Watsa territory, is at the heart of the accusations. This incursion caused casualties among Congolese and Chinese personnel, with three injured and the tragic death of a Chinese employee from his injuries.

Faced with this demonstration of criminal audacity, Governor Jean Bakomito did not fail to praise the efficiency of the security forces involved in this arrest. He also launched an urgent appeal for the collaboration of the population in order to flush out all the malicious individuals who threaten the tranquility and security of the region. The tenacity of these criminals must be countered by a collective and coordinated mobilization of all the actors concerned.

This arrest highlights the perseverance of the local and military authorities in the fight against the insecurity that is raging in the Haut-Uele province. The firmness displayed in the face of these criminal acts sends a strong message to the disruptive elements who seek to sow terror and instability in the region. The population can thus hope for an improvement in security and a climate of peace conducive to the harmonious development of the province.

In conclusion, this anti-crime operation marks a significant step forward in the fight against insecurity in Isiro and its surroundings. It underlines the crucial importance of collaboration between the authorities and the population to guarantee the safety of all. It is by joining forces and remaining vigilant together that we will be able to ensure a more serene and prosperous future for the province of Haut-Uele.
