However, an increase in the prices of some products is also observed. For example, the price of a bag of ginger from Kimpese and a bag of cloves from China have increased, as has the price of a bag of solanium from Seke-Banza. This is due to various factors, including the depreciation of the Congolese franc against the US dollar.
