**Operation Foiled: Special Forces Neutralize Terrorist Leader in Forest**
In an operation worthy of the greatest special forces, elite troops recently put an end to the activities of a renowned terrorist leader. The information was communicated by Edward Gabkwet, Director Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), following an operation carried out by the 413th Force Protection Group.
The deployment of these special forces was decided after an intelligence report was received on August 31, indicating that the terrorist leader and his group had been spotted near Sabon Gida forest, along Sabon Birni road. According to the information received, their mission was clearly malicious, aimed at abducting, injuring or killing innocent civilians.
At the time of the operation, the terrorists were moving on motorcycles. When the special forces approached them, the terrorists opened fire. However, the troops responded with superior force, neutralizing all the criminals. While searching the area, the forces seized five Dane rifles, a locally made sub-machine gun, ammunition in addition to various items such as amulets, lighters, SIM cards and phone cases.
