“Youth recovery plan in the DRC: An ambitious initiative for a promising future”

Youth recovery plan: An ambitious project for the future of the DRC

Youth represent a major challenge for the development of the Democratic Republic of Congo. In order to respond to the challenges it faces, Mr. Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba, a youth leader and mentor, has developed a youth recovery plan entitled “Operation Desert Storm”. This ambitious project aims to enable Congolese youth to align themselves with the objectives of the Head of State Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and to make the impact of their actions visible to the population.

The recovery plan is based on 7 main axes which constitute the pillars on which the problems facing young people in the DRC are based. Among these axes, we find agriculture and rurality, the fight against juvenile delinquency and the depravity of morals, the development of youth and the population, the promotion of culture and new citizenship among young people, the gender equality, partnership for development and strengthening the institutional and technical capacities of structures in charge of youth.

The objective of this recovery plan is to strengthen institutional, technical and operational capacities in the field of youth. This includes strengthening youth networks and organizations, as well as training and supporting young people in their personal and professional development.

Hervé Tansia, drawing on his experience as an associate of Madame Chantal Mulop, adviser to the Head of State on youth, gender and human trafficking, and as adviser to the Minister of Youth, INC and CN, Yves Bunkulu Zola, wants to be optimistic about the implementation of this youth recovery plan. He is convinced that if the actions provided for in this plan are actually carried out, Congo will experience positive changes and a more promising future.

In conclusion, the youth recovery plan proposed by Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba is an ambitious initiative that aims to address the challenges facing Congolese youth. By strengthening institutional capacities and providing development opportunities for young people, this plan paves the way towards a better future for the DRC. It now remains to materialize these actions and mobilize the necessary resources for their implementation
