“The success of the Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa: an exceptional collaboration for quality sports infrastructure”

The IX Games of La Francophonie, which recently took place in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, marked a real success for the country. Thanks to the involvement of all Congolese players, from the Head of State to the Congolese people, these games were crowned with success. One of the key elements of this success is the work of the Minister of Infrastructure, Alexis Gisaro, who has fully invested himself in the planning and execution of the necessary sports infrastructure.

In collaboration with the various construction companies and project stakeholders, Alexis Gisaro ensured the installation of modern, functional facilities that comply with international standards. He closely monitored the progress of the work and reminded the service providers of the importance of meeting delivery deadlines.

Beyond the simple construction of infrastructure, the Minister of Infrastructure has also ensured that it is accessible to all, in particular to people with reduced mobility. Inclusion and accessibility were priorities for him, in order to allow all athletes and spectators to fully enjoy the event.

These quality sports infrastructures will have a positive impact on the development of the country, strengthening the sports sector and creating opportunities for the regular practice of sport. Plus, they will leave a lasting legacy for years to come.

The Francophonie Games were an opportunity for Kinshasa to show its potential as a host city for major international events. Thanks to the efforts of all the actors involved, these games were a real success and helped to highlight the cultural and sporting richness of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
