The Boxing Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will participate in the 20th edition of the African Boxing Championships which will take place from June 13 to 25, 2023 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The members of the Congolese delegation are already in place and are preparing to give the best of themselves.
The Congolese representative, Pita Kabeji, of the 80 kg category, expressed his confidence in his performance: “We are aware that this is a high level competition and it will be difficult. But we are working and we are here to win the medals. The world championships are already in the past and we remain focused on this competition with one objective, that of bringing back the medals. The African championships will see the participation of boxers and boxers, divided into several categories for men and women: from -48 kg to +92 kg for men and from -48 kg to +81 kg for women.
