Tribute to Emmanuel Mahenda: An emblematic figure of education in the DRC dies

Fatshimetrie mourns the loss of an emblematic figure of education in the DRC: Emmanuel Mahenda, respected Technical Assistant at the INPP, passed away at the age of 78 following a long illness. His death leaves a poignant void in the field of professional preparation, where he dedicated 45 years of his life to training young Congolese.

This man with an exemplary career left an indelible mark on national education. His unwavering commitment and dedication to his profession made him a role model for many generations. His rigor, kindness and passion for teaching left their mark on those who were lucky enough to cross his path at the INPP.

Emmanuel Mahenda was able to pass on his knowledge and experience with generosity, thus helping to train dozens, even hundreds of young talents in various professional fields. His positive influence is still felt today in the daily lives of those he accompanied and guided throughout his career.

His nephew, Jean-Marie Talamaku Makazu, highlighted the importance of this remarkable man in the lives of his family and loved ones. His passing leaves a great void, but his legacy will endure for generations to come.
