After massive investments in modernizing its technology and infrastructure, the Kibali gold mine, located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, plans to maintain its annual production of 750,000 ounces for the next 10 years. Mark Bristow, managing director of Barrick, highlighted that Kibali is not only the largest gold mine in Africa, but also one of the most automated.
