The Democratic Republic of Congo continues its development in various sectors, in particular thanks to the financing of the government to contribute to the growth of the economy and rural development. The Minister of Industry, Julien Paluku presented the progress of the “Chrisnovic” project in the province of Kwilu, which aims to rejuvenate 5,400 hectares of plantations and install three palm oil extraction and production plants, palm kernel oil, edible oil, biodiesel and meal.

This ambitious project has a proven socio-economic impact with the creation of 3,000 jobs and the reduction of the current deficit in oil production. In addition, it contributes to supporting agriculture and food security, ensuring the maintenance of agricultural feeder roads and broadening the tax base.
